In 2023 a young 16 year old Josh Dolan was brought up from the Beauy U/17 team to play two consecutive Senior games with our B Grade team and he impressed with how well he acquitted himself against St Bedes/Mentone on the small ground at Brindisi Street and against the eventual Premiers, St Bernards at Oak St.
So to some it was not a great surprise to see him run out last Saturday night (15 March) with the Western Bulldogs to play against Nth Melbourne at Marvel. Once again he took it all in his stride, although it was very unfortunate to see another young Beauy Shark and teammate, Luke Cleary, stretchered off during the same game.
Congratulations to Josh, his family, and all involved, on his achievement of becoming the 33rd Beauy Shark to play in the VFL/AFL.
