The Sharks returned to the winner's list with a final quarter blowout that quelled the lowly-ranked Monash Blues by 57 points.
With a mere goal separating the two sides at three-quarter time, Beaumaris unleashed a frenzied eight-goal to nil final term to record its fifth win of the season.
"Monash gave us a great contest for much of the much before we finally broke them in the final quarter," forward Jonno Nash said.
"They surprised us. This competition's an unusual one. While it's clear it's split into two - a top tier and a lower tier - you cannot underestimate teams' endeavour each week.
"We were confident we would roll over the Blues, but it had to wait until the final 30 minutes of the contest."
The victory was dampened when defender Nick Smith collapsed with a suspected season-ending anterior cruciate ligament.
Smith, while hunting his opponent, went to change direction when his knee gave way.
Its his second ACL-related injury after hurting the same knee in 2016 while playing for Bendigo League powerhouse Strathfieldsaye.
"I've had a history of knee injuries, so seeing Nick go to ground had a profound impact on me," Nash said.
"He's been a brilliant, reliable performer for us since coming to the club this year. We're all hurting for him. He'll be a difficult player to replace."
Rob Cathcart put in another best afield performance in the midfield, while big Sam Gibbons found his accuracy, booting five goals.
His lieutenant, Jordan Smith, chimed in with three majors.
Anthony Carroll returned for his first game in a month from a broken ankle. He proved to be a headache with the opposition - and its injured players on the sidelines - with his trademark agitating antics.
Meanwhile, the reserves provided last week's heavy loss was an aberration with a 40-point win over Monash.
Alex Johnstone (four goals) and Harry Edwards (three goals) were a force in the forward-50, as Matt Lovejoy run amok around the ground.
The Sharks head into the halfway mark of the season a game outside the top four.
They'll rejuvinate with a bye this week, before returning to play local rivals Parkdale away.
The club could be bolstered by the return of Jack Gabron-Uhe, who has missed the last seven weeks with a broken thumb.
