It was a successful trip north to Bendigo for the VAFA Representative teams from the B – D3 Divisions in both the Seniors & Under 19 grades and it was great to have four Beauy Sharks lining up in the two games with Cal Linehan & Riley Virtue playing in the Senior team while Mitch Davidson & Ben Seers ran out in the Under 19 match.
Both teams were victorious, with the Under 19’s recording a big win in the early game before the Senior Team got up in a thriller after scores were tied 9.14 to 10.8 at the end of the game before Cal Linehan led the VAFA to a ten point win in extra time.
This was a very similar result to last year and once again the Beauy Skipper, Cal Linehan, had the honour of holding the Cup aloft after the game.
