Here’s the Fixture for all Senior teams this weekend which commences tonight @ 7PM (Friday 3rd) with the U19 Div 4 Boys taking on Old Xavs at Oak St. PLEASE NOTE LATE CHANGE - The opposition is now St Marys Salesian.
This will coincide with the Members draw which will take place just prior to the start of the game. $800 up for grabs – You have to be there!
Then on Saturday the Senior Mens team and Reserves have massive games against Caulfield Grammarians, coached by our former coach and good friend Bluey McKenna.
Following those games, we have the unusual match up of our Seniors and U19s Prem at the same venue. The 19s have a big game against Williamstown CYMS, which gets underway @ 4:45PM. Great opportunity to stick around and support these boys who are the future of the club.
The Youth Reserves playing in the VAFA Thirds competition are now playing in Division One due to a re-structure. They are scheduled AJAX on Tuesday night (7th) at Oak St commencing at 7:00pm.
The Women’s teams will be playing Fitzroy away on Saturday.
Congrats to club stalwart Pip Atkins who plays her 50th Senior game on Saturday. Pip started her career at the BFC back in 2017 and has been a regular since, mostly playing at fullback where she has excelled. She has represented VAFA and was part of the inaugural BFC Women’s Premiership team in 2022.
Well done Pip!
(footnote: due to the shorter Women’s seasons in previous years it has taken longer for our girls to reach milestones, which makes the achievement more meritorious).
