A great tribute to our club came last Sunday from ABC Grandstand (774) which mentioned during commentary of the Hawthorn/Sydney game that there were 6 players who were six former Beauy juniors playing in that match. They suggested this would be a record for any Junior club in Australia. They're probably right.
Those former BFC juniors were Jack Gunston, Jack Scrimshaw, Cam McKenzie, Oli Florent, Hayden McLean and Joel Amartey.
We know for certain there will be future AFL stars playing this Sunday.
