Saturday was day one of the footy camp for the Senior teams.
It was highlighted by a stirring and emotive presentation given by former St Kilda great, Steven Baker.
Baks recounted his path to getting a start at AFL level and the steps he took to play over 200 games at the top level. Then post footy, fighting depression and dependency and dealing with the loss of loved ones, including his great mate, Shane Warne. It was compelling stuff, delivered with emotion and passion, by a guy who was driven by grit and determination.
Baks is pictured with members of the Senior Mens and Womens teams, his former Saints partner Stephen Milne, and members of the BFC coaching staff and committee.
