Comment:

Geelong's fourth and final selection in the 2008 NAB AFL Draft, Hunt spent his first season on the senior list playing in the VFL. The Cats were pleased with his progress and he was not far from the mark, being named an emergency a couple of times late in the season. Showed dash on the wing or off half-back in the VFL.

He made his AFL debut in Round 11, 2010 against the West Coast Eagles at Subiaco Oval. He also kicked a goal that was nominated for goal of the week against West Coast in that game,

He chose the perfect way to work his way into the game with a crunching block for Jimmy Bartel at a boundary throw-in and a series of strong tackles soon afterwards. Taylor had 10 disposals and in the second quarter kicked his first goal in the AFL.

At the end of the 2014 season Taylor was delisted by Geelong and drafted by Richmond where he played a further 42 senior games

Taylor played 68 games for the Beaumaris Junior club between 2003 and 2007.
