Despite being 5 goals down at half time, our Seniors turned it on the 2nd half to ensure 200 gamer Michael Defontenay was a winner in his big game.
Lead by inspirational team leaders Matt Petering and Rob Cathcart, the guys dug deep and produced a 5 goal final Qtr into the wind to secure the win against Ajax FC at Gary Smorgon Oval.
For Diff it was the perfect result for someone who has given so much to the club throughout his time in the Seniors and the Juniors.
Diff 's legend will continue to grow, but in the meantime we salute a great servant of the club on and off the field.
